To Eat or Not to Eat? | The Mystery of Mimicry in Ecosystems

Want to challenge your students to think like predators? In the To Eat or Not to Eat? investigation, students will dive into the fascinating world of mimicry—where creatures evolve to look like something else to avoid being eaten. They’ll research how predators make food choices, what drives those decisions, and how mimic species survive in a shifting ecosystem. Guided by museum scientists and using real research methods, students will build their understanding of predator-prey dynamics, biodiversity, and the impact of environmental changes. It’s an exciting, hands-on way to explore evolution and ecological balance!
